Kirsten Vangsness has been an American actor since the early 1990s. The most notable part of her career was as Penelope Garcia, in the acclaimed police procedural crime series Criminal Minds. The actress has also been featured in its spin-offs 'Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior' as well as 'Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.' Kirsten Vangsness has also appeared on other TV shows as well. The majority of her work is as a TV actress, however she's been in a couple of small roles in movies after her first showbiz appearance in 1998.
