Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. She is best known for her part as Skyler White on the AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family relocated to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna worked by the theater in the Chicago area for a few years prior to trying her hand at TV and films. In 1992, Anna landed her first big character in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a Actor in a variety of TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. Skyler played her part on Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was also an integral part of her work. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. Gunn also played a part in Numbered Day, an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio-based plays. The story of Breaking Bad is dependent on the relationships that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The deterioration of this relationship is akin to Walter White's dying days.
