Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is a stand-up comedian and actor recognized for her dry sense of humor. April Ludgate is her role on Parks and Recreation. In the Jeannie Tate Show the actress was the first to debut on a web-based show by performing sketches and improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Later in her career, she became a star on Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and The World. Celebrate her birthday! Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and Financial expert David Plaza. She is the daughter of Irish, English and Irish as is her father, who was Puerto Rican. Plaza has graduated from a Catholic all-girls school in 2002. She then attended the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. When she was a senior in high school she was President of the Wilmington Drama League and her student government at her school. Plaza, who was still in her second year of her college career when she was diagnosed, had an aphasia expressive and paralysis. Today, she's completely healed. Plaza has performed improv comedy, and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two venues in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed standup comedy. Plaza was seen in the role of Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show as well as the debut episode Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. Troopers was a humorous scifi show that aired on CollegeHumor with her as the role of Princess. The saxophone was first introduced in the movie Cassorla Bona Fide, 2014. Her first appearance was as a guest in the The Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings 'in 2012. HarmonQuest, in 2016, was a show that featured Plaza in the role of Hawaiian Coffee. In addition, she played Aaron Burr in Drunk History as well as Cat Adams for Season 11 of the C.B.S. Television show Criminal Minds. In Season 12, she returned to the show with a resounding success in the character. It was announced a year after that Plaza will be a part of a comedy that is independent named An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
